Above: Left - mechanical adjustment for 2nd string half-stop; Right - adjustment for half-stop tension.

Here is the present copedent that I put on the guitar...

Pedal 1 - raises strings 5 and 10 a whole tone
Pedal 2 - raises strings 3 and 6 a half tone
Pedal 3 - raises strings 3 and 4 a whole tone
LKL - raises strings 4 and 8 a half tone
LKV - lowers string 6 a full tone (adjusts with stop screw in changer); half stop adjusts with hexnut on pull rod
LKR - lowers strings 4 and 8 a half tone
RKL - lowers string 9 a half tone; lowers string 2 a half or full tone, with mechanic half-stop mechanism underneath carriage
RKR - raises strings 1 and 7 a full tone

  • Bill Lawrence pickups

  • triple raise, triple lower changer

  • D-10, 3 x 5

  • Black Formica body with aluminum necks

  • The guitar originally came without a mechanical half-stop assembly for the string 2. I had ordered one for my Sho-Bud, which I used on the JCH instead. I like a good solid half-stop, which the guitar now has. There are two adjustments underneath. One adjusts the actual stop, the other adjusts the tension. I have it set pretty high, as I like a tight half-stop.

  • Has split tuners, which I presently only use on string 6.

  • guitar is standard 26" height

  • comes with original hardshell case

  • no return issues on the strings

  • The guitar has a really great tone in my opinion

  • The neck selector switch turns on either the C6th or the E9th, but NOT both necks at the same time

  • no instructions for split tuning, but it's the same as standard. You first adjust the lower with the changer screw using an Allen wrench, and then with pedal and knee depressed you adjust the split tuning with the rod hexnut.

I made a quick unrehearsed video so you can see and hear the guitar in action. Recorded in July of 2018.

If all you have is music, you have nothing! You need Jesus Christ as your personal Savior to truly be prosperous in life. You may be the poorest man in the world materialistically, but if you have received Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God; believing on His name to forgive your sins, then you are a rich soul indeed!

John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ,
the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
